Clearing Misinformation

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM ALLO CANADA

As loyal Allo consumers, we recognize that you have many options when it comes to vaping products and you put a lot of trust into us as a brand to provide high-quality products.

Recently, you may have seen rumours or manufactured news stories on social media regarding Allo products being banned in B.C. due to foreign contaminants. To ease any anxiety you may have about continuing to use Allo products, we are happy to confirm that these stories are nothing more than misinformation being spread by a fake and unreputable news source.

Every Allo product complies to provincial, territorial, and federal requirements and the Allo brand has never been banned from the province of British Columbia. Allo products are also registered in the European Union and the United Kingdom where the product registration process is strict, requiring the submission of ingredient information and toxicological test reports, among other requirements.

It is hard to speculate on why people spread information online, or why Allo was a target of this campaign. However, this is likely a problem that will not go away anytime soon. It is best to always make sure to check that the news you are reading and sharing online is coming from a reputable place.
